CRUISES
The
Rumbera leaves from the port
of Palau
in northeastern Sardinia, along the Maddalena
Arcipelago National Park and very near the
Bonifacio
strait,
in southern Corsica.
This
ideal geographic location offers many
destination possibilities. Not to be missed are
the island of Budelli with its famous Spiaggia
Rosa
(pink beach) and the adjacent
Porto
della Madonna,
the Razzoli
island with its lighthouse (easy accessible on foot),
and the island of Spargi
famous for its white sand.
From
the Maddalena Archipelago
it is possible to
steer east towards the trendy Costa
Smeralda
and more south towards the grand Tavolara
Island
and the beaches of
Capo
Coda Cavallo,
or else steer west
towards Corsica
with stops at the islands of Lavezzi
and Cavallo,
rich in depht life and the emerald water around
Piana Island. From these beautiful islands,
it is "almost
required" to
enter between the white cliffs of the port of Bonifacio,
medieval little town full of history, architecture,
nature, shops, restaurants and bar. You can continue west towards Tizzano and Propriano
or east towards Santa
Manza,
Rondinara
and Porto
Vecchio.
The
cruises are always ment
to meet the
passenger’s desires and view the most
possible, yet meteorological conditions
must always be taken
into account to guarantee safety and
comfort.
The
crew
of the Rumbera, Tiziana and Vanni, take the duty
of monitoring the boat conditions seriuosly; it is also their
responsability to clean in the common areas
and prepare meals. Guests have the
opportunity to assist in guiding the boat, cooking
in the kitchen or else simply enjoying the trip in
total relaxation.

THE
DAILY
EXCURSIONS
Other
than the
reserved cruises, the Rumbera offers
daily
excursions leaving from La Maddalena or the
corsican islands of Lavezzi and Cavallo. The boat
departs around 10.30 am and after just an hour
and a half arrives
at the Porto della Madonna, sailing near
Budelli, Santa
Maria
and Razzoli.
With
the boat anchored it is possible
to go onto land with the tender, or go
snorkeling in the clear, calm water.
After
lunch
served on board,
the boat departs again headed towards the island
of Spargi for more views and to go swimming again
before returning to port around 6.00 pm.
The

It
is possible, in situations with groups, to make
personalized itineraries.
